Job Duties

The Marketing/Sales Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

Identifies marketing opportunities by: identifying customer requirements, defining market/competitor’s share, reviewing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, forecasting projected business, and establishing targeted market share
Assesses clients needs and provide resolutions
Gives seminars to existing clients and new clients about the title insurance industry
Maintains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Provides feedback at monthly marketing meetings on activity/growth in designated territory
Works closely with Regional Manager & Branch Managers of designated territory
Supports offices in helping to close on high-volume closing days of each month
Remains highly visible by attending industry-related functions, community events, realtor board meetings, business networking groups, etc.
Expected to secure face-to-face meetings with brokers, agents, and lenders to acquire their business
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

In addition to calling on realtors, this position will include sales and marketing to lenders and mortgage lenders.

Skills

Must be comfortable and capable of speaking effectively to large groups
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and motivated to obtain professional growth

Work Experience

Prior sales experience with a lender, banking institution, or mortgage broker preferred
Candidate will be trained to learn how to close a real estate transaction. Complete understanding of both Buyers & Sellers Closing documents will be expected.
